PDA ATC challenge #49 (theme = retro)

I see that I need to do quite a bit of catching up with the results from our little challenge/swaps. I was preparing to go into hospital last year when this challenge started and must have decided to leave posting the results. well I did not mean to leave it for all this time. So, it is now time for me to bring matters up to date with a number of very short posts. The theme for this challenge was RETRO and was challenge #49. The results were very varied as ever, the themes being open to interpretation. I do think they are well worth trading.

PDA, ATC challenge/swap: theme = open theme; (#45)

After an extended break over christmas I have finally posted the entries for last Decembers challenge. Still a small but enthusiastic bunch of entrants. And of course some wonderful art cards to end the year on.

As usual, all atc/aceo artists are welcome to join PDA (Paper and Digital Art) and join in our current challenge/swaps. You will have to be a member of PDA but it is free and there are many other groups which may well whet your appetite to be creative with images.

As usual, I will simply post the images with the first name of the artist. Don't forget alll entrants are able to request a link to any web site they are involved with or run. Just get in touch with me via the group/PDA or leave a comment below.

Neat, don't you think

Nnormal service will now be resumed and the next theme is "ILLUSION", why not give it a go?

PDA, ATC challenge/swap: theme = Imagined Lands (#42)

A very quick post for this and the next couple as I am having to catch up. Holidays and life in general have meant that this blog is lagging behind the actual challenge on the PDA site, I need to rectify the situation. So here are the entries for this challenge:-

If I seem to have made a lot of cards for this challenge, it is because of an error on my part when randomising the lists for trade partners. I missed out one of the participants and it was easier to trade twice than change the partners list, when I found out. The reason why I make two cards for my partner is historical , but I have carried on making two for each challenge and am like ly to do so into the future. Anyway I love making ATC's and do not do anywhere near enough because of time constraints, so I am happy with the arrangement.

Don't forget check out the PDA site, if you are not a member, for free images and "crafty" challenges.

PDA, ATC challenge/swap: theme = Trouble Lurking (#41)

Time to catch up with a couple of challenges, this one was based on a theme of "trouble lurking". I was looking forward to seeing how the participants would interpret this theme. I always look for a subject which could be desribed as "stretching" and never know what I will be doing myself until I sit down to actually start creating. This ultimately gave me quite a hard time but I think I eventually managed to think outside the box and finish with something which I had not expected,

So here are the entries for this challenge, hope you enjoy them:-

Are you interested in this sort of challenge to create an ATC based on a searching theme. Would you be interested in a trade amongst the challenge entries base on a random choice. This and lots of other fun projects can be found on Paper Digital Art and Images by Kim, come along and try out the site, and make a few new friends into the bargain.

PDA ATC challenge/swap 37 - theme = spring

Another great set of ATC's from this ATC challenge on PDA. the theme was set to be very general since this seems to be the everybodies liking. More control over the atc, I guess. But there could be a few surprises in store as the year moves on.

The trading aspect of this challenge is quite simple, all entrants submit one ATC and at the deadline the list of entries is randomised. This random list is used to decide who trades with whom. It is a sort of blind swap since you do not know which ATC will be coming your way. If this sort of trade interests you, then why not join the site and see if you can find more to interest you. We have many groups (mixed media art mostly) with a number of different activities.

Here are the entries for the 37th challenge, the theme was spring:-
